Prospective Members

Membership American Society of Mohs Surgery

Membership Overview & Application Information

The ASMS currently offers physician membership to U.S. and Canadian dermatologists, and internationally-practicing dermatologists and other specialists, depending on the manner in which Mohs surgery is performed in the individual country. We also have U.S./Canadian and international membership categories for Mohs technicians and related Mohs support personnel, in recognition of their valuable contributions to the successful performance of Mohs surgery.

Why Become An ASMS Member?

Membership benefits include discounted registration fees for the ASMS’s four annual educational activities, discounted pricing for practice resource products, quarterly subscription to The Beveled Edge, our quarterly member newsletter, and other member-only programs and services.

In addition, current members will have their contact information included in our searchable on-line membership directory, readily accessible to patients and their caregivers, and to member physicians and others seeking referrals for their patients within specific geographic areas.

Membership dues are assessed on a calendar year basis. We do not assess a separate initial application fee, however the first year’s membership dues are payable upon submission of initial membership application. New applicants whose membership materials are approved in the final quarter of the year (October – December) will have their initial dues payment carried over to cover dues for the following calendar year, as well.
