Annual Meeting: Focus on Skin Cancer
June 5-8, 2025: Denver Marriott Westminster, Westminster, CO
Physicians and Technicians
This year’s Focus on Skin Cancer features a variety of advanced surgical topics, melanoma discussions, interactive panels and breakout sessions, as well as political and regulatory updates in dermatology. A fully-equipped microscope lab will contain both Mohs and brand-new challenging “unknowns”, with small group video microscope presentations designed to reinforce key interpretative concepts.
The Advanced Technician Course focuses on advanced topics pertaining to Mohs tissue processing, as well as important laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines. Physician faculty will discuss the critical surgeon-technician interface in Mohs surgery. Interactive discussions will examine challenging slides and other difficulties encountered in daily practice. Participants are encouraged to bring their own slides for group discussion.

Course Background
First introduced in 1995, the course Directors continue to introduce new topics that highlight the latest advances in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. There are stimulating panel discussions and breakout sessions focusing on problematic Mohs, repair, and complication cases, histopathology challenges, and innovative suturing techniques. There are elective laboratory microscope sessions that feature both challenging and other “unknown” tumors presented by dermatopathologists on the faculty.
