The 2013 Dermatologic Surgery: Focus on Skin Cancer symposium will feature the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and incorporate a variety of important topics for dermatologic surgeons and Mohs surgeons. Special emphasis will be placed on the Mohs technique and reconstruction of Mohs surgical defects. Interactive forums addressing surgical reconstruction, controversies in dermatologic surgery, and melanoma will round out the program. Stimulating Member Forum topics will be selected on the basis of their diversity and relevance to the majority of attendees. Three afternoon elective microscope sessions will offer participants the opportunity to review challenging Mohs and non-Mohs cases with interpretative assistance from experienced Mohs surgeons and renowned dermatopathologists on faculty. Don't miss the opportunity to visit our Exhibit Hall during each breakfast and refreshment break period.
This year's program will not feature a separate Mohs technician session. Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Mohs Technicians may register for the physician session with a letter verifying their employement by a dermatologist. Current dermatology Residents may attend the meeting at no charge.
