The ASMS offers four continuing medical education activities annually.  Each incorporates a wide range of dermatologic surgery, Mohs surgery, surgical practice, and histopathology topics -- as well as a variety of practical exercises designed to reinforce dermatologists' technical skills in the treatment of skin cancer.  AMA PRA Category 1 credit is available for all four events. 

Focus on Skin Cancer and Fundamentals of Mohs Surgery offer concurernt sessions for physicians and Mohs technicians. Registration is open to both ASMS member and non-member participants (current members will take advantage of discounted registration fees).

 

  • May 20-21, 2015 - The Closure Course - AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Available

  • May 22-24, 2015 - Dermatologic Surgery: Focus on Skin Cancer Clinical Symposium - AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Available

  • November 5, 2014 - Basal and Squamous Cell Cancer Pathology for Mohs Surgeons - AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Available

  • November 6-9, 2014 - Fundamentals of Mohs Surgery for Physicians and Mohs Technicians - AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Available

  • Peer Review Program for quality assurance feedback (Non-CME)

  • Clinical Observational Preceptorship Program for additional exposure to Mohs surgery performed by highly-experienced Mohs surgeons (Non-CME)

  • Online Pathology Review and Self-Assessment (currently under development and CME-eligible)
