MOHS

Resident Member
Physicians currently enrolled in an ACGME-accredited or AOA-approved dermatology Residency program, or their international equivalents, are eligible to apply for Resident membership. Resident members have the rights of Fellow members except that they are not eligible to serve in an elective office or vote. Resident members are obligated to observe all Bylaws and Administrative Regulations of the Society.

Because we are an educational Society and Residents represent the bright future of  dermatology, we actively welcome Resident involvement in the ASMS. To facilitate this participation, Residents are able to attend ASMS educational activities at discounted rates. They also do not pay annual dues until completion of their training, at which time they are eligible for Associate membership. Once Board certified in dermatology, they may apply for Affiliate or Fellow membership. (Fellow membership has additional requirements including a Mohs case log, letters of character reference, submission of cases for review, and an examination covering numerous aspects of the Mohs procedure.)
